help w/ pvc tube

ok my problem is i changed out the motor on my 94 civic sedan had a d15b7 swapped in a jdm d15b and though everything went on exept this little tube from a big black cylinder on the firewall behind the trottle body. so my question is where does this tube connect to, i alredy looked around but i couldnt find where it went,and also dont remember what i took it off. any help

Pic? Are you referring to the big canister on the firewall?

are you talking about the evap canister? the hose should go to a little **** looking thing on the driver side back of the intake manifold or i think its called the sylenoid

well it is that big black canister on the firewall,but i dont see where the little hose on the very top of that canister leads to. the hose itself has #7 all the way through the hose and it says pcv on on the very top of the canister. so any help

could someone show me a pic of the back of the drivers side intake manifold and see if that hose goes there. the only problem for me that that is the only part that wasnt on this motor. so do i really need it and would this be the reason for making my car get sluggish?
