When i start my car at any time of the day or weather it starts REALLY fast. i mean like i turn the key for a half a second and its started.
then it seems like its gonna die for a second and the oil light blinks fast as hell then shuts off.
im fine on oil and everything.
why is it doin all this

IACV = Idle air control valve
i read your thing in your signature

next time ill do some reasearch before i make a thread

 

The oil light is blinking on merely because the engine is about to stall -- thus the oil pump is turning real slow. It should quit doing that when you fix the idle speed.
