Yesterday as I was on my way to work I noticed a slight hesitation while trying to accelerate after making a turn. Normally I have power right away but this was a low hesitation with a bit of shaking in the car (very light shaking). When I lifted my foot and tried again immediately I got the same result. However I could then accelerate slowly and it was ok. I didn't experience it on the rest of the drive nor on my drive home from work.

This morning on my way to work it did the same thing again.

I know nothing about cars so any help would be appreciated. I'm bringing the car into the shop on monday to get a new muffler so I could have them look at this as well (I'm also having them replace some belts in the car).
