i have a 98 hx and im having a problem, when i start my car up after letting it sit like 3 hrs or more it smokes a whole lot blueish tint so im pretty sure thats oil, im wondering how to fix that, should i buy a new motor? or get this one fixed?

Test drive and have someone follow you in another car and watch for smoke. If it smokes worst when you floor it, that means the rings are worn out and you should probably shop for a new engine.

 

open the oil cap and look inside the motor, is their gunk build up or does it look pretty clean?

also have you changed your pcv valve lately?
