Default pannel lights

i was driving down the road then my dash lights went out and my buddy said my brake lights are out...randomly but what is weird is when i hit my alarm they still light flash..am i looking at a bad headlight switch?

First check for a blown fuse.

+1 - Check fuses first.
After replacing fuse,turn the lights on again. Do they stay on or blow the fuse again?

k welp found out its the fuse it keeps blowing i know i got a short somewhere but where hahah any suggestions? this started to happen after i was messin with my vtec wires running to my ecu wondering if maybe the multifunction switch is ran through the ecu?

It's common for the wires behind the radio to short out if it's an aftermarket radio. The lighting circuit doesn't involve the ECU at all.

fixed it..was the Illumination grounding out thanks for the help
