HID question.. i looked and couldnt find anything
It sounds like the HID kit that you have only has low beams. It dosent mean you have a cheap @ss set. I put HIDs in my 2000 civic and payed $370 for them. But they werent high/lows for another $20 i could have had highs. IF you want high and low beams you will have to buy a kit that offers high and low.
That was back in 2004. HID prices have come way down since then. I picked up a pair for my fiances car for $79 before xmas. That was for the high/low kit and the relay. Havent had a single problem with them either.
ya i got mine from ddm tuning as well but mine came quickly.
i heard they had a sale and that put them behind, i guess i got mine right before the sale so i beat the rush or just got lucky.
i just love how slim the ddm ones are! i got the higher power ones also, but for a small civic headlight its probably best if you stick with the typical 35watt version. i havent had any melting issues with my trucks 55watters yet, but i had a set of civic headlights inside bezel melt from some hotter bulbs i think.
i never had a problem with the 35watt bixenons that i had. only problem i ever had is one of my bulbs went bad after awhile and had to replace it.
