so i hydrolocked my gsr to the point where im just gonna throw it out its completley destroyed , broke a rod , the block has a WHOLE in it.and im going to order my jdm gsr soon but i was wondering if hmotors is a good place to buy the engine from. thank you

 

Wow the same thing happened to a really good friend of mine. He had a GSR too. He ordered His B18c from there. Motor was shipped in good packaging and it ran fine. I beleive he's had the engine for a year and half now. No problems at all.

His insurance sorta prorated the damage and he got money to buy the engine. Is your Ins covering this at all.

 

i wish its all comming out of my pocket so its really messed up

 

dang man that sux but h motors is really great. a buddy of mine bought a b18 from there and it came pretty fast and after the install it started right up no problems so far

 

yeah im pretty sure they are great , just waiting on them to give me quote on shipping so i can go ahead and order it. and i'll be selling my aem v2 so i can order a password jdm power chamber intake , no more CAI's for me lol

 

how did u get ur engine hydrolocked?? did u drive through a lake??

 

do they sell obd2 b18 (gsr) motors?

 

well it was raining really hard and theres was a puddle about 3 to 4 inches deep and i gess it sucked up water from there.
