Although I still didn't check my radiator, I was browsing around just in case I have to get a new IAC for my car, and I found an online store that offer three options but with a huge price difference:

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/co...bGFjZW1lbnQ%3D

Any one would know to tell me why?

PS: My car is made in USA, so I suppose that maybe the part tagged as for canadian cars wouldn't fit on mine (although I cannot figure why), but I still cannot see why one part costs about $80 bucks and the other costs almost $200 since they are basically the same and suppose to have the same purpose... maybe the cheaper one is refurbished or even recycled and the other one is brand new?

By the way, I was consulting a PDF service manual for Civics 92-95, and it does not mentions MAF, but MAP. Actually seems that only the D15B7 engine has the MAP - the other models (D15B8, D16Z6 and D15Z1) don't even have a sensor in the vacuum system (at least this is what the service manual I have says!)...

The first valve on the page is actually a FITV, not an IACV. The FITV, mounted on the bottom of the throttle body, opens only when the engine is very cold (below 60 F) to increase idle speed. It is mechanically operated not electric. The other two valves on the page are the electric IACV, different brands but equivalent fit and function.

Not sure if you can find a seller on Ebay that will ship there but I just bought an IACV from a seller in California for $20 and it worked great to fix the same type of problem you are having. Might be worth a shot. Better than spending $180 for a new one if it works.

Thanks for clarification, mk378 - actually for my non-pro eyes they look the same!

Hey TiggerDX - would you give me the email of this California seller? I have found a couple eBay sellers offering this recycled part for cheap values, but it is always better to deal with referred person - I am a bit freak about to buy from unknown eBay sellers, as I have heard creepy stories...

Here is his store but it looks like he sold the 10 or so that he had.

If they have a good feedback rating, you should be OK. I know when I bought mine a couple of weeks ago, there were about 20 different places selling them so you should be able to find something.
