honda civic battery light

Default honda civic battery light

I have 2002 Honda Civic, Battery light came on, I have replaced the alternator and battery, the light is still on. WHat can I do?

Does it charge? Measure voltage at the battery with engine running everything else off. You need >13.5 volts.

Unplug the 4 pin plug from the alternator and turn key on. If the light still comes on, there is a short in the wiring.

Tried that no light with the plug out! So no shorts in the wiring! RED LIGHT Still on with it pluged in and running!

Thoughts?
