Default honda tune up

hello i plan on doing a tune up on my 1989 honda civic dx hb 1.5 4 spd. i wanted to know what would be the best spark plugs to use. and i need to change my spark wires what do u advise me to use. i know it may not be worth it but this is the only car i got i cant do anything big on it like engine swap cuz this is the only car i have to get to work in.

i mean like what brand of plugs would be best? i was going to use ngk v power.


im sorry im very confused by everything u just said. i dont know much about the history of honda. could u explain

just use ngk's if you want quality. (though I honestly can't tell the difference between ngk and autolites on my 87 civic)

Use stock wires. Nothing wrong with them even for a performance setup. Many of the aftermarket ones at parts stores simply don't work. They're crap.

so i can use ngk v power plugs an the cheapest wires i could find was at advanced auto part they have bwd spark wire plug set for 30 bucks

Do not buy those. When I said stock wires I mean the OEM ones from the dealer. Costs about $75 a set. You will regret the $30 ones.
