Just thought I would give you a warning about Hondapartscheap.com. I ordered 2 parts last Tuesday. After checking the web site for a status today, it still showed processing, as it has for the last 6 days.
I found the parts at a junk yard so emailed them to cancel the order as is the policy per the web site.
I received this response several hours later:
"to cancell this order would incurr a 20% restock fee
your parts should be shipping tomorrow"

They haven't even shipped and are charging me a restocking fee. Am waiting to see if they charge it on the parts price or try to really screw me and charge it on the whole order including shipping fees and handling fees.

Just thought you should know how they operate.

 

What did you order? I have never had a problem with hondapartsdeals.com personally. Just FYI for next time.

I ordered a VSS holder and gear.
They do state on their site that cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee which I missed. I just don't agree with a restocking fee on parts that weren't shipped within their 3-5 day shipping policy. If they had told me upfront that it would be a week before the parts were shipped this could have been avoided.
I just want people to be aware of their policy on cancellations.

 

I don't know why everyone keeps thinking it's Honda Parts Deals. Different site. Someone on another forum said the same thing.
