Default Hood Alignment

I did a search but wasnt able to find anything on an issue like this.

I was in an accident and after having the bumper, fender, radiator support and headlight fixed ive noticed that driver side is about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch further forward than the passenger side is lined up perfect.

Is the hinge bent on one or both sides or is the problem with the latch and the bolts holding the hinge/hood

The circled areas are the areas where it is forward to far. I will upload actual pictures tomorrow

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing the car hit something with the right front corner. Probably the real problem is the bumper, etc. is too far back on the right side, i.e. the whole car is no longer square like the hood is.

You can try loosening the hinge bolts and push the hood back on the left (and/or pull it forward on the right), but that will twist it to the side-- some of that can be compensated by moving the fenders.
