Pick up an EX/Si cluster off of Craigslist or Ebay or the like, so long as it has a tach, for a 96-00 Civic. Be careful that you don't get one from Canada that reads in Kmh instead of Mph.
Two screws to remove the black bezel.
Four screws to remove the cluster, undo the harness connectors in the back.
Undo the one bulb that has a wire attached to is.
Remove the clear plastic by carefully undoing the tabs.
Remove the black plastic portion of the cluster by carefully undoing the tabs.
Unscrew the four screws holding the speedometer in place.
Reverse the order for installation.
Do the same for the replacement cluster, and mount the speedometer from your DX into the cluster with the tach. This will keep the correct mileage on your car.

ORIGINAL: Mr Mobsta Man
If the cluster is for the same gen as your car it will plug right in.
