I can't believe I did this!
Alright... I feel like an idiot. I was installing indiglo gauges in my 97 Civic and I totally broke my fuel level gauge... ugh. Is there anyway to replace just the fuel level gauge without buying an entirely new console? Or is there an after market 2" gauge that would work? that I could just install into my 3 gauge pod? Thanks.
I did the exact same thing about 4 years ago. Went through a honda oem replacement part website (dont remember who) and switch out the entire cluster. I never tried it again since. I was pretty upset when this happened. I got the other two face plates on with no problem, but that fuel/water temp gauge is a douche!
well is this a DX or EX with tach?
if its a DX cluster a used cluster should be cheap... but if a EX IF YOUR LUCKY youll find someone with a cluster iwth a busted speedo or tach...
BUT if its a EX/SI cluster with the temp/gas gauge on the right side than you cannt just replace just the one gauge... they are made together in that side panel, the cluster is made up of 3 panels... like pictured in my DIY led thread..

very easy to swap out those 3 sections at least....
ya should have done your research...
THESE NEEDS ON ANY HONDAS DONT COME OFF
and they dont move much either before snaping
I WISH THEY DID..... than i could put on some sweet needles like clear or painted
but they dont..
