Default Idle fixed now Engine light is on

Thanks to this forum, I was able to fix my rough idle by cleaning my IACV with carb cleaner. That thing was extremely dirty. However as soon as I started it up after cleaning the IACV the check engine light came on. The car is idleing great. I don't have a code reader but will stop by autozone later when I have time.

In the mean time, any ideas out there?

clogged cat-converter probably. Should clean itself out over time by driving it. If after a few months problem persists your converter might be toast. Also check your spark plugs, they could have carbon caked onto it after you cleaned it.

It a 96 ex that the previous owner put in a d16y7.
I replaced the spark plugs first, but I will check them again.

I have been working late so much lately that i can't get over to autozone to check the code.
