Make sure throttle cable is slack and throttle plate fully closed when gas pedal is not pressed. Pinch off the hoses to the brake booster and charcoal canister etc. with IACV disconnected and see if idle decreases. Spray carb cleaner on various gaskets (intake to head, throttle body to intake, fuel injectors, etc.) and see if it gets sucked in making the idle change.

ok i was looking for a leak or anything and took off the intake to help and desided to covor to holes inside the tb that go to the sensor that is off the back of the tb (i beleieve its either the map or the tps???) and if i plug those holes with my fingers the car idles at about 900 which sounds about right... am i on to something here

on a side note i got an entire new intake manifold and tb and same deal as the ecu, i was told it was from a manuel but i dont know for sure, or if it matters even...
