Default idling problem on 95 civic

I did a search on this topic and there is a lot of comment that sorta relates to my issue but wasnt sure how to go about getting a solution. My car 95 civic ex is having idling problem when my car is warm and while im breaking or idling in traffic. Its doesnt splurt down all the time but when it does it feels like your engine is going die. What could be the problem here?

hey my 94 does the same thing. some say it could be reseolved by one of about 50 slutions so unless your willing to just throw money at it i would just leave it alone until it does do it until it dies. here are soem solutions tho in case you were wondering:
your simple tuneup jobs-such as
plugs
wires
cap
rotor button
throttle positioning sensor, throttle body throttle rotor
throttle screw
IAc there is a total killer list of things that can be doing this and frankly i just don't feel like taking all of these things off of my engine and checking or replacing them.
mucho denero. mi tiene no mas.

You probably just need to adjust your idle.

Where does it idle when it's not about to die?

i have the same problem. i changed the spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap, and even with a new intake it still does it....all of them helped just a tad bit but not enough.

95 DX D15B7.. same problem. Right after I got the car I checked the PCV and it rattled like it was ok. I dug a little deeper and found that the "s" shaped vacuum hose that connects the PCV to the intake was completely clogged. Replaced it with a GM hose that looked close enough from one of those "Help" parts displays and it idles like a sewing machine now. It's a good first thing to check because it's so inexspensive.

my guess it'll be something related to your fuel delivery system. i would replace your plugs, and fuel filter and see what that does.
