Default ignition switch????

ran into some more trouble with my 1998 Civic DX when I go to start the car I usualy have to turn the key ahead 2 or 3 times before I get my dash lights and the car to start.... also today my SRS light came on and now my horn does not work. i did a little investigating and found it could be the clock wire??? does anyone know how much it will cost for the part and replace. also would it be my ignition switch or should i look elsewhere thanks.

Sounds like a bad ignition switch.

ive taken a ignition switch apart from a 88 honda civic lx that i have "the bastard was all screwy" and they tend to fail after ahwile. im not sure if the newer ones fail often like these ones do. but the terminals looked a tad melted probably from all the arcing. definately replace it or youll end up like me lol. i ignored mine and thought what the hell i might as well use the bastard as much as i can till it dies. the switch ****ed up while i was on a busy street in the left hand turning lane waiting to turn onto highway 6. my sister n law had to hold the key a few degrees past II so we could at least get the damn car home. if it was let go the spring would push it back to II and id get no electrical in the car whatsoever. try driving a 5 speed civic while holding the key a few degrees past II. lol enuff to drive anyone ape****
