installed new tps sensor and now idles high
Make sure the throttle plate closes fully when no one is pressing the gas pedal. Check sensor calibration: turn key on but don't start, connect voltmeter from center wire of sensor to ground with the sensor still plugged in. The voltage should be 0.4 volts. If not, loosen sensor screws and rotate to get 0.4 volts. This is after making sure the throttle plate closes fully. Also any air leaks between the throttle body and manifold will cause it to idle high.
