Default intake fabrication

yo i got a 96 ex and do u have to cut a hole in the sheet of metal to stick the piping down in so the filter can go inbehind the bumper, bc there is no where were else that the piping and filter will go or fit

Huh? Post a pic of the area you are talking about. I have a 98 and there is a hole right where it should be. Your should be the same.

There was a pipe welded to that spot in mycar, I'm assuming that it was for the stock airbox and I just cut it out with a dremel.
