Default just curiouse ...noob yes..

i was just wondering if it hurts the engine to rev it high when your in nutreul? .... i have 8k rpms and i rev it to about 5 when in nutreul whether it be in motion or standing still ... just to show off i guess is y i do it lol ... but i was wondering if this damages the engine in any way and if so how?? thank you for taking the time to respond to this (what some poeple might think) rediculous post :P

i seen 11 hits and no1 replies? no1 knows at all? or just no1 cares to share info? i'm not asking alot guys.... just a lil advice.... i thought thats what forums were about , getting advice about sumthin from a group of people who kno more about the "something" than you do ....

i dont think itll hurt to rev up to 5 on neutral...i got rev step set to 4500 for launch

RPM= revolution per minute.So the engine makes more revolution per minute meaning that the internal engine is working 2 to three more times as hard at higher rpm then normal.If you work something harder the quicker it wares out.The more miles you put on a car the weaker the components become make higher revs later in engine life more harmful.

you should not do that.
puts excessive wear on the engine parts.

Don't do it, no load high RPM's are a bad thing.
