Ok this problem has been bothering the sh t out of me. I cant remove my key without having to disconnect my battery, it stays in the "I" position, anyone experience this problem? Its a 1999 Honda Civic DX 107k miles, no problems up until this point.

I tried removing the column covers, undoing the white plastic cap of the solenoid, and messing around with the plunger, but nothing. Problem persists. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, im tired of popping my hood everytime i shut my car off. Thanks!
