Default Keyless Entry

2002 Civic EX,
The keyless entry key fob has stopped working on my drivers door but will operate the passenger side door. The horn no longer beeps when I try to lock the doors using the key fob. I have replaced the battery in the fob but still have the same results. Does anyone have any idea what has happened? Has anyone ever replaced the lock actuator inside the door? Any help provided will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

You might have to reprogram the remotes.

Try this:

1) Turn the key to ON
2) Press lock or unlock on remote
3) Turn the key to OFF
4) Repeat 1-3
4) Repeat 1-3
5) Turn the key to ON
6) Press lock or unlock on all the remots you want to program, the locks should cycle to let you know it worked.
7) Turn the key back to OFF and they should be good to go.
