How do you get a remote start on a stick shift?
Very good question... I am wondering as well.

I'm pretty sure you can have them installed where you dont have to hold in the clutch and you just leave the car in neutral.

most places that install remote starters will not install on manual transmission cars due to the potential liability caused by remotely starting a car that can jump when started

Its not THAT cool anyway... I'd rather be able to shift when I want than start the car from a few feet away.

Remote starts CAN be installed on a manual. They rig it to the ebrake so that the ebrake has to be engaged for it to arm the remote start.

For mine, park the car, put it in neutral, pull the ebrake (so far just like every other time you park a manual right??) press the button on the key-fob, turn the key off. Get out, lock up, press the fob again and she's armed for next time. Sounds far more complcated to read it then it actually is, but its awesome!!! ESp at -30!
