Default knock sensor?

So I went to swap out my PCV valve and I found this. This is on a d16y7 with the air cleaner and housing removed, right above the oil filter.

This is a connector I found that looks like it's what broke off from whatever this is...

Is this a knock sensor? My haynes manual says the y7 doesn't have one. I don't think this can be THAT important because it's not throwing any CEL's....

Ok, looks like this is the oil pressure switch. I guess I'll replace it next time I change the oil, it's only 8 bucks for a new one...

That is indeed the oil pressure switch. You don't need to drain the oil to change it, can be done at any time.

Would it be safe to use one from advance auto parts? Or should I just go to the dealer?

I would just get one from the dealer. Honda tends to be pretty reasonable for most part prices, and you'll have peace of mind knowing its a quality part.

It's the same price from honda, so I'll just get it from them. Thanks!
