L.e.d screws
recently i saw an actual screw and at the head of the screw was and led bulb and the it has a wire to connect to 12v. now my question is, does anyone know what size the screw on the door handle is. the screw that hold the door handle piece to the actual door. because i want to see if i can find a screw that size to fit there and run the wire somehow to connect i to a 12v.
not sure what ya mean by screw led......
but the easy ones to work with id say are these...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HYPER...mZ140258412367
just wire them up and bend the led around to aim it where you want it.
but if you can solder and have some time just get some raw leds and resistors and do all your own solder and such...

well yes its posible.
first check your fuse box and make sure no fuses are blown. thats probably why your dome light doesnt work, that or your bulb is just blown.
the simplest way to have them turn on with the doors open is tap into the door pin switches. they are simple ground trigger pins, just hook up the black ground wire from the leds to that wire and hook up the red to a FUSED power source! if its not fused like the above male spade terminals i HIGHLY SUGGEST you buying a inline fuse for it and then run your wires for your lights off the inline fuse. if you dont you risk burning your car up if the wires ever short out for any reason! its cheap insurance dont skimp out!
if you pull the back seat lower part out (one bolt holding it in in the rear crack in the middle) tilt the seat forwards from the back and pull it up to free the little Z pattern hook that holds the front in.
and with the lower seat out of the way pull the side trim panel off from the front door pillar and youll see the wire for the door pin switch. simply tie into it no problem doing that.... and just snap everything back together.

and your dome light switch is turned to ON?
ya never know...
its very rare for a dome light circuit to go bad! and it doesnt work with both the doors open either?
try opening the door, and pull the top of the rubber back on the door pin switch and remove the 1 philips screw, then the pin switch should just pull out and have 1 wire attached to it. try to ground that wire one bare metal, probably have to use a piece of wire to reach, and if the dome light comes on then then your pin switch might just be to dirty and just need cleaned or maybe replaced. im not sure where the dome light circuit is located but if that grounding the wire doesnt work then go to your local dealerships parts counter and ask him if he can look it up in the computer and see where its located and how much a new one costs.
