Default Leaking transmission???

My 06 civic is leaking what appears to be transmission fluid, but when I check the fluid level it's always topped off without any sign of fluid loss. The fluid on the dipsitck looks good not dark brown or black and it doesn't have a burnt smell to it. Going to the get it checked out some time this week any ideas on what this is?

Why don't you think the leak is engine oil or power steering fluid?

Yes, this is what I'm wondering. The oil left on the ground is reddish/pink so it can only be power steering or transmission fluid right? Where the fluid is dropping is directly beneath the transmission and it's usually a small amount per day on the ground. I've checked all fluids and the only thing that was low on fluid was the reservoir. Power steering, brake, engine oil, radiator, windshield wiper, and transmission levels were all full.

I don't know what to think of it. Could I be reading the dipstick wrong? I take a drive put it in park and check the fluid level while the engine is running and it's right at full everytime, yet I see with my own eyes a small spot of fluid on the ground every morning. It doesn't make sense.

Can you more precisely pinpoint the source of the leak? Try wiping the area clean of oil and then watching where the oil first starts to appear.

Is it still under the factory warranty?
