Low voltage at fuel pump connector
Car won't start. Got relay and ECM from salvage place. Still won't start. The voltage at the connector to the fuel pump is 9+or- volts.
Fuel pump will start directly from battery. 1990 Honda Civic Wagonvan. Where do I search next? Please help.

RE: Low voltage at fuel pump connector
What does it do when you turn the ignition? Turns over won't start... nothing at all... There is a thread with multiple possiblities for not starting ... General problems...

RE: Low voltage at fuel pump connector
other things are pulling from the battery when you are trying to start.
this is a long shot (just not sure), but i would get a test of the battery under load, or if not that then with one of those new battery testers that are out - they have them at autozone and will test for free. i know that the local wal-mart can test under a load; cant think of an auto parts store that does though.

It will turn over but not start. When the pump is connected (jumpered) to battery it is operational. Testing the voltage with the key on at connectors. I am not that swift at electrical stuff, but learning.
