I have a 92 Civic that had a flickering oil pressure light. I put a gauge on it and got 70-80 psi cold, then 20 after warm up at idle. When I increase the rpm to 2000+, the pressure drops off to 10 rather than increasing. Is this likely a bad oil pump, engine wear, suction.......?

 

eek.. well low oil pressure usually isnt a good sign lol that usually happens when ur headgasket goes... when u check your oild do u see any coolent in it..and vice versa oil in your coolent?

 

Start by checking whether the engine oil level is low.
