well even though its in the wrong section. I believe most ppl use a b16a for the head. 315 Customs will prob be able to better help you considering he just finished doing his about two months ago i believe.

You take an LS engine and remove the head. Get yourself some ARP head studs and twist them into the block. Get your self a good Vtec head and make sure the valves arent bent or leak. Then locate the oil supply hole for the vtec on the bottom of the head. Use a 1/8 inch NPT tap and tap the hole then plug it with a 1/8 NPT plug. Get your self some LS/Vtec dowel pins, otherwise you have to use a 9/16th drill bit and drill the spot where the dowel pins go on the head to accept the larger LS dowels. If you drill make sure you use a drill press so you dont drill it crooked. Now put your LS or a LS/Vtec (LS works fine) headgasket on the block. Slide the head down over the head studs onto the block. Put some assembly lube (supplied with head studs) on the nuts and put them on the studs. Now torque them down to specs going in a cris-cross pattern from center out. Now put your cams in and torque down the cam caps, be carefull of the 6mm bolts they break easily. Now put your timing belt on. Put your valve cover on. Install your exhaust manifold. Install your spark plugs, distributor, spark plug wires, and anything else not already attached to the head that needs to be. Now run your Vtec wires and if you did it right its ready to fire up after your fill your fluids back up.
