MAINT REQUIRED LIGHT ON HELP PLEASE!
this sucks to have to ask this because i like to try and know all i can about my car...but...i need help guys...
this weekend i drove from philly(wherei live)...to seaside heights NJ(with the maint required light NOT on)...then on sunday drove from seaside to Atlantic city(still not on)..then on the way home back to PA...the light came on....i didnt see a problem, engine was cool, levels on liquids were right where they need to be I.E. oil, coolant...all that...umm..i checked everything and i dont know...anyone have any ideas of what to try?? i appreciate it..thank you!

the main light - is that not different from the check engine light (cel).
i dont know becasue i still drive the older ones.
but i got an 83 audi and they have this main light that just comes on at a preset mileage just to tell you that it is time to change the oxygen sensor (i think).
there is some button to press to reset it - nothing to do with anything wrong.
but, dont know if it is the same with honda

hey guys i figured it out, thanks! the light is set to go on every 10k miles, and i drove it passed the 10k since ive had it mile marker, now i just gotta reset it
