I was wondering if anyone knows what could be the problems if the Maintenance light blinks when you start the car up, but then stops after about 5-7 seconds???

 

Its called an idiot light, I think its letting you know that the light itself works... idiot. just kidding. Anyway, it could be something possibly misfiring or you starter needs to be looked at.

The light has never done that before. It happened once before. I took it to honda cause they didn't finish the inspection of the car and when I got it back the light didn't do that. So, I was wondering what other possibilites could it be. When honda gave me back my car they said they put on new brakes, so I am just wondering what could be the problems when the light does that.
