Maintenance Required light?

Maintenance Required light?

I have a 00 civic EX and the "Maintenance Required" light came on about 2 days ago...what does that mean? I was thinking that it's a normal tune up such as oil/filter change, spark plugs, belts and stuff like that. My car kinda feels jumpy lately too...like maybe it's missfiring. It can't be the spark plugs though cause I just changed them about 4k miles ago. What is that light for?

what any maintenence light is for on any car...a basic tune-up.

that light comes on about every 30k to let u know it time to spend a little $$ --just norml stuff ---- & being obd2 if u did have a misfire your check engine light would come on

You can go to say...AutoZone to get that checked for Free...
