finally figured out exactly what's wrong with my car, and to make a long story short, i need a new motor. it's the d15b7, auto trans, discovered a laundry list of problems yesterday. metal shavings in the oil, #3 spark plug full of oil, coolant in my oil. on top of having a damaged crankshaft that has the wrong pulley on it as it is. i don't even know where to begin looking for a motor for this car, as i wasn't planning on a motor swap for awhile. i'm in norman, oklahoma, and if anyone has any advice on what my next move needs to be i would appreciate it.

 

too bad you cant wait another 6 weeks i have a d15b7 with 130-150k but im gonna swap and put a jdm d15b instead. ebay and local junk yards man.

 

i'm not going to have the money for this for awhile anyway. i'm just going to have to deal with not having my car until i can find an engine and a way to put it in since i'm currently without a garage or tools. i'm going to start checking the salvage yards today. the car still starts and runs, but it's not happy about it.
