Default manifold problem help pleeeease!

i have a 99-2000 d16y8 motor in my 96 and the manifold crack from over tightening. i had wasted money on numerous kinds of intake manifold and each one is having air/vacuum leak. i just realized that the 99-2000 has an extra hose going to the center top of the manifold where it bolts to the head. the manifold i bought didnt, i thought they were all the same

The problem is that i have bought 2 d16y8 from different year civic and it doesnt have that hose connection. is there a way to use that manifold and stop the leak? the car starts but the idle is very low and you can hear leak but i have no clue where from.

i really need you guys help. i cannot afford to buy another manifold because i dont want to take the risk of buying another wrong manifold. its really hard to even find the 99 manifold.

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

just swap over to some performance headers and forget about cracking ever again but you could try welding the crack in your existing manifold if it boils down to that.
