Default Manual 99 LX. Opened bell housing, 2 anonymous ball bearings?

We opened the bell housing to replace some bearings. Much to our surprise 2 little ***** fell out once we had everything opened. We can not find what these belong too.

You mean they were in the clutch area? They could have come from the throwout bearing or the pilot bearing, presumably you were in there because one of those blew up.

Right, but we didn't notice anything that would be missing *****. That's what concerns us.

well it could be from the bearing, not sure exactly what those bearings look like but if they have open sides then maybe a ball is missing from it. since you say you cannot see where it came from I am assuming there is no blown open bearing because that would have caught you attention. But the only thing that i can think of that would have a small ball in it would be a bearing, so replace your bearings while in there -_-

If bearing noise is why you pulled the trans it's most likely from one of those.
