Default master key

my key does not work in my trunk, honda says i do and should not have a master key. the manual says i should have a vala key and a master key. Do not have the key code on the little bar that came with the car when it was new. i gbought the car used.How do i get one?

Im not sure, but the dealer should be able to get you a key (pretty sure its gonna be expensive)

Most dealers will make be able to make you a key from the VIN. All you should have to do is prove the car is yours. Registration and your drivers license or something like that. It's definitely going to cost more than getting one made at Wal-Mart. Make sure it works in the doors, ignition, trunk and everywherebefore you pay for it.
