okay i just instaled a sub today, got a new battery terminal for the positive side put it all back together and it wont turn over just makes this click click click noise, if i pop the clutch it runs fine no light dimming stereo works, i drove it all the way home (15 miles) and it was fine the in turned it off and immediatly tried to restart it and nothing won't turn over, i cleaned both terminals really good and still nothing any ideas

 

you need to check the charging system. if your alternator is charging, you may have a bad battery.

 

ya its 1 of 2 things.....battery is shot or alternator is shot.........sure hope its tha Batt

 

I had the same thing happen a week ago. ONly mine was kind of out of the blue. I hadnt touched the electronics at all. I drove my car almost all day, parked it for about 20 minutes, then got back in and it wouldnt do anything. Just sounded like a rediculous amount of static was flowing through the car. Anyway, long story short, got a new battery and i was good to go...

 

It sounds like the charging system is working. The problem sounds like either your battery, or your battery connections (you say they're clean, but are they making contact?).
