I have a 95 civic. I had a problem with my transmission and had it fixed, and we were working on it we shortened the gear ratios. This was not the best idea like I thought it was going to be. Now, my car is at 3500rmp in 5th gear going 60mph. Its as if it needs a 6th gear. My problem is, I dont want to have to go back into the transmission to fix the gears, so is it possible to shorten the ratio by putting bigger rims and tires on it, or something?!
