Default My SRS light stays on!

When I started my 96 Civic DX Hatchback last night the SRS light came on but it stayed on and as of this morning it is still on and I've been driving around for an hour or so. I read online that this could have something to do with a weak battery and I do remember that when I started my car last night my flasher/warning lights had been on for about an hour while I was parked in a NO PARKING zone. At first when I tried starting it I thought I had a dead battery but I guess it was just weak. On the second try it did start normally but the SRS light has stayed on since then.

Do you think that it's just because my battery is weak? When the battery recharges will I need to reset the SRS light? If so, can I do it myself?

Thanks

Paul

Jump the service connector to pull the SRS code. Then reset the SRS computer to see whether the code returns.
