Does the camshaft and distributor turn when you crank the engine?

Ohmmeter tests will not always confirm that the coil is good. In other words there are bad coils that will pass the test. Try jumping sparks from the coil output spring to a grounded test wire with the cap off. If you only have tiny sparks, the coil is bad. If you get big sparks (1/2 inch or more) there, check for cracks in the cap and rotor.

Question

i kinda have the feeling the distributor is bad but i have checked for voltage coming out of the coil and it was source voltage coming out and the old cap and rotyor wasnt cracked or anything like that i bought a new one anyways how do you determine if the ecu is bad i know im getting voltage to the distributor so is the ecu good then?
