Default need help!!

Hey i just got some altezza tail lights for my 1996 civic hatch. i was trying to take the old ones out but it just isnt happening. when you take off the covers from inside the boot (where you replace bulbs) there are 5 or so screws with nuts on the ends, ive got 4 of them off but there is one right up the top i cant get to with any type of spanner, socket or whatever else i tried (ive tried everything) so as a result i think ive nearly stipped the nut.

There has to be an easier way as i see so many people with altezza lights. can anyone give me some insight on what i should be doing or what type of tool i should be using?? im stuck it also doesnt say anything in my Haynes manual.

also, i get the impression im the only aussie?
