hello.. i have a civic type r ( ep3) with k20A2 engime and 5zigen exhaust system , aem v2 intake system and dc headers , now am thinking to buy a skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body , do i will gain more hp or i have to put a hondata ecu , or it will work normaly with my ecu ??

 

A TB and IM are simple bolt ons that wouldn't require tuning. However, getting K-pro and a tune will definitely help you bring out those mods.

Also, look into a Hondata IM gasket.

K-pro would definitely open up your motor and easily get you an extra 15-20 hp. You aren't getting the most of your current, and future for that matter, bolt ons running on a stock ECU.
