Default advise on transmission swap...plz

whats up guys
I got a 95 civic DX and a 94 civic EX. The DX is a 1.5 non vetec and the EX is a 1.6 vetec. The DX has Manual Tranny and the EX is an automatic. Is it possible to swap both of the trannies?? I want the manual tranny from the DX in the EX and the auto in the DX. will the DX tranny handle the 1.6 vetec?? and would it even fit?? thanks.. any info would be great...

the transmissions will bolt right up, but the gearing might not be the best (I think the dx is geared kinda long)

yeah the tranny will fit, you will also need to swap over the pedal assembly. the master cylinder, transmission bracket(part on the frame). you will need to put in he clutch relay on the EX as well. And to wire up the lights to work with the manual tranny

The ONLY thing you will need separately is the Manual P28 ECU for the EX as well.

or you can convert an auto P28 into a manual P28...but you'll still need a P06 for auto which are cheap and plentyful...
