I have 05 Civic EX 2 door and recently was told that my transmission needs to be rebuild so it prompted a question....
Can I put a 6 speed transmission with the stock engine?
Would that work? or what can you guys suggest me?
I use the car for my daily driving and would not mind making it more fun.

 

I doubt K series 6 speed transmissions can be mated to the R series engine. You can probably convert to 5 speed however.

 

i already have a 5 speed manual.
i just want to get 6
