NGK spark plugs
well I think when I used seafoam on my car that the plugs I got in there got some stuff on them, haven't checked yet though. If they look dirty should I just wipe them off and they will be fine?
can your car get worse gas mileage if your oil needs to be changed?

Seafoam can damage spark plugs, but using seafoam with a tune-up, you would replace the bastards anyway.
I'm gonna buy some NGK coppers this afternoon after i use GM's top engine cleaner

I would definatelly use nothing else but NGK plugs and factory Honda plug wires \Now on the plugs there are different ones you can use depending on the engine
D16Y5 engine use NGK ZFR4F-11
DY16Y7 AND DY16Y8 use NGK ZFR5F-11
BA16A2 use platinum plugs PFR6L- 13
Do not waste your money on some other mickey mouse brands, these work best for Hondas

I have summit branded packard plug wires but i use NGK plugs, the car had some bosch platinums in it, which suck IMO.
So far the plug wires don't seem all that bad and the engine must have been in pretty good condition at 248k,
uz there wasn't such a night and day difference, like there was in my truck, after using seafoam. But my truck spent most of it's time cruising around 2000rpm and towing, plus driving mostly city driving with very short trips and alot of stop and go. So carboin build up was a definite.
Depending on alot of factors, seafoam can damage spark plugs, not always but sometimes it can. I have seen it on a few vehicles, but it isn't a definite. I just figured i would warn you in advance. but seeing how seafoam is meant to be used as an engine cleaner at tune-ups, the spark plugs should be changed anyway.
