No Cruise...94 Del Sol
Hey guys, Matt here 1994 Honda Del Sol Si.
For any Honda Techs out there I have a factory cruise control system on the car but it does not work.
If I'm going down the highway, and I press the switch on the dash to engage it the intrument panel "cruise control" light does not illuminate. If I try to set it it will not set.
So my questions are...do you think the switch itself is bad or perhaps the whole unit itself??
Is there a relay for it?? I've checked all the fuses and have yet to see any blown, but I have not checked the larger fuse blocks under the hood as I am unsure if they corralate to the cruise system.
Any and all help would be appreciated as I am completely new to Hondas, and wiring has never been my specialty.
Thanks in advance!!

The bulb in the master switch button is commonly burnt out after years of leaving it on all the time. Check the rubber pads for the switches on the brake and clutch pedals. If it thinks that a pedal is pressed, the cruise will not engage. Also check that the vacuum line is connected to the cruise actuator under the hood.

Well got the cruise fixed :-). There were no grommets in place, the genius before me taped pennies over the hole where the grommets were supposed to be!!! WOW
Also, the main harness connector was all hacked up and I had to cut and splice the pigtail. So either the grommets or the wiring or both, but either way she's back in action
