NO FIRE IN DISTRIBUTOR
K GUYS, I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP HERE!!! OVER THE WEEKEND WE SWAPPED A 1.4ENGINE AND TRANNY OUT OF A 95 CIVIC INTO A 96 CIVIC, REPLACING A 1.6. WE BLEW THE ENGINE AND NEEDED THE CAR BACK ON THE ROAD AND WE GOT A GOOD PRICE ON THE E&T SO WE JUMPED ON IT. THING IS THERE'S NO FIRE TO THE DISTIBUTOR! THE ENGINE CRANKS BUT THATS IT. IF YOU GOT AN IDEA OF WHAT IT COULD BE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!
yeah the 96 models have a crank position sensor on bottom of motor the 95 dont they have it in the distributor if the swap was the other way around 96 into a 95 it would work.
