no gases for smog

How would I lower the nO gases in order to pass smog?....I passed everything else but nO. any help would be appreciated..

Some possibilities would include a bad catalytic converter, a fault in the EGR system (if your model has one), a bad coolant temperature sensor, or the ignition timing out of spec.
