I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX and recently someone tried to steal my civic, they took apart my steering column to get to the ignition and they also tried to steal my stereo which is located in the same section as the a/c on/off button. They tried to pull on the middle section of the dash to take out the stereo. I checked if there were any disconnected wires, but all are intack. With the ignition assembly I was able to put that back together and start the car, so that was resolved, but no power to the on and off button to the a/c and remote control buttons for the power side mirrors. One of my friends told me to check the fuses (all are good). Does anyone know if there isa relay which controls the r/c side mirrors and the a/c unit? I am thinking the relay might have blown.
